ce l'avevo a Miramar ,non troppo lontano da casa ,e non lo conoscevo,
per cui gracias al Flaquito per avermi fatto conoscere tal lugarito..una graziosa casetta sita in zona tranquila in tercera con mesas adentro due sale e nel cortile..nulla di particolarmente lussuoso come ambiente ma cmq piacevole(qualche tovaglia con los huecos sarebbe pero' meglio cambiarla..anche perche' esto è un lugarcito de gran exito oramai..
il proprietario è l'ex-cuoco del Diluvio che ha aperto due anni fa in lleno Miramar...
trattasi dell'onnipresente Walter Ginepri (in foto) ma no me parece marchigiano..bensi un po' piu' "marocchino" come si dice dalle mie parti..ojala' napulitano(?) nonostante la pizza sia non sia quella alta tipica di quella zona..
per cui parece increible ma è possibile mangiare una pizza moolto buona:P (la mejor personalmente in kuba e anche nettamente) nella Isla..
ma pure ad es la lasagna della mia amiguita ,non era bollo.gnesa come quella de mi mama' ,ma trattavasi cmq di prodotto decisamente commestibile...
per cui pizza a 7-8 cuc..pasta su quei precios li..
anche pesce e carne con precios piu alti..ma cmq molto buono direi il rapporto calidad precio..
defecto..purtroppo e non sono il solo..
le cameriere:roll: ..oltre che poco gnocche sono anche all'apparenza bastantemente improvvisate..
e se walter accetta un consejo..direi che gioverebbe una distinta mulata a mandar come capo-camerera e non queste insipide blanquitas che si arrabattano fra i diversi tavoli..
si chiude tardi..una domenica sera arrivava gente anche a media.noche ,prima locale pieno con pure una discreta colita,
molto piu' tranquilo invece in orario de almuerzo..
atmosfera un po' da little italy data la folta presenza di connazionali..
per cui consigliatissimo..nettamente the best pizza(italiana) en kuba .. for me
ps
ojala' el queso de la pizza non sara' proprio mozzarella di bufala..ma tutto considerato direi che complessivamente si puo' tranquillamente perdonare..
per cui bravo Walter aka Don Ciccio come suol farsi chiamare..

This is Walter Ginevri’s (the Italian pizza guy) new place in Havana, except that actually this Paladar is owned by Eneida, a pleasant, businesslike woman, who has lived for some time in the accompanying 1950s modernist house, which is located in the middle of this new restaurant, occupying the side and back terraces (as well as an inside room).
There is a menu, features a selection of pizzas and pastas, as well as some superb meat dishes (look for the lamb ribs when they have it). Most of the regulars simply have whatever Walter suggests. As with much good Italian food, his recommendation will invariably be uncomplicated. This should not be mistaken for simple, as this is quite simply the best place for pizza and pasta in Havana. I am not really sure what the secret ingredient is, but I am sure that it includes a large dash of Walter’s inimitable charm, mixed with the freshest ingredients and a newly installed stone pizza oven.
The place itself is unspectacular in décor and ambience. Pleasant, comfortable, unpretentious with lightning quick service, this is simply a good place to eat. Having said that, as the saying goes, people who know go and go back for one hit is never enough.
As of February 2013 Carboncita has become so popular that certain nights it does become completely full and with the best will in the world the service slows down. I would still suggest that they do better than anyone else in managing such demand but still. In general I like the service although there is a reasonable turnover of staff so over time it can be variable, and people get tired at the end of a long day. Maybe there is some discrimination against attractive female clients and some general slowness if you want something different but all in all this remains a great place.

The waitress’ attitude at La Carboncita: La Carboncita is one of the best pizza places in town, service is quick, food is delicious, prices are more than affordable and the owner is super kind and friendly to say the least. Unfortunately that friendliness is a characteristic that most of the female waiters at the place do not share. In the last visits they were unhelpful, dismissive and rude. One of them gave us a table with three chairs (while we were four) and never volunteered to bring a chair or look for one, and then demanded our order one minute after handing us one menu for all of us… she looked quite unhappy when we asked for a couple of extra minutes and more menus. Anyway girls, the restaurant is already great, wouldn’t hurt to wear a smile once in a while! Get rid of that ‘tude.

Decisamente più bella la location ed alcuni piatti decisamente fatti bene, ma non tutti. (ottima la carbonara e l'insalata di polipo). Sicuramente più adatto per una cenetta galante del BELLACIAO ma non con la stessa qualità del cibo.
Prezzo a testa per un entrante, un piatto forte, 2 cerveza, caffè y rum sui 14/17 cuc....

notevole delusione nel NON ritrovare la buona pizza(provate 4 nella misma cena) del verano pasado..
si spererebbe che la stessa sorte non tocchi anche ai piatti di pasta e al resto..

Nuovo ristorante a miramar,
il nero di seppia in calle 6 entre 3ra y 1ra,
aperto dall'ex dueno de la carboncita,
quest'ultima passata ad un altro connazionale e il livello della comida e' di nuovo buono...
